History & Mission

The CCCAA, established in 1992, is an association of testing professionals working in California community colleges. We welcome new members, and there are currently no dues. Simply contact the CCCAA Secretary to have your name added to our directory (or use the new self registration section of this website which is under construction).

Our mission is:

• to provide California Community College assessment personnel with an effective statewide voice.
• to serve as a forum for collecting and disseminating assessment information statewide.
• to actively represent California Community College assessment personnel at the state and local levels.
• to promote professional assessment standards and practices in Matriculation and other academic endeavors.
• to provide leadership in assessment guidelines, policies, and philosophies.
